In the spring of 2004 Sally decorated two Llamas,
Landscape llama and Liberty llama, for the Art Guild of Ludlow, Vt.
Landscape Llama
Green mountains turn to calico, with flaming
maples all around. Frosty fingers touch the hillsides, and snow begins to mound.
Sugar houses steam and boil, then lime green tips the white birch trees.
Summer blooms, the green is spreading 'cross the rough up to the tees.
Landscape llama sees the season, happy with the changing views. Beauty's
in the lovely hillsides (and became this artist's muse.)
Liberty Llama.....
Stands alert, service medallions upon his shirt.
Memorial pictures along each flank, to honor the men of every rank.
Parades are good the llama has found, but also important are boots on the
ground.
